The challenge

Iguatemi S.A. is one of Brazil's largest full-service shopping center companies, with stakes in 14 malls, 2 Premium Outlets and 3 office towers, totaling 707,000 m² of GLA. It opened the country's first shopping center in 1966,

and the challenge was to bring more than 50 years of heritage into a website worthy of the brand — a national symbol of sophistication, innovation and excellence. The experience had to connect the physical malls with the digital ecosystem, integrating the Iguatemi ONE loyalty program and the Iguatemi 365 marketplace into one fluid, phygital journey.

Pioneering
in every detail

Iguatemi is an Indigenous name meaning “river of dense forest” or “dark green river” — and it became synonymous with innovation and modernity in Brazil. The company introduced the food court concept, pioneered efficient energy use, was the first in its sector listed on B3's Novo Mercado and partnered with São Paulo Fashion Week. The website had to carry that pioneering spirit into every element of the interface.

The Iguatemi
phygital experience

With Iguatemi ONE, a loyalty program with Silver, Gold, Black and Diamond tiers, and the Iguatemi 365 marketplace featuring the country's best brands, the website was designed as a natural extension of the malls — open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. One mission guides every design and development decision: to surprise and delight people with memorable experiences.
